Plant for tub under carport - light but no sun - Plants

I would like to plant something in a tub by my kitchen door, however it's under a carport which though light has no sun

Did you want annuals or perennials? Colourful or green? If you want colourful annuals then Busy-Lizzies (Impatiens) and bedding begonias grow in shade. If green then hostas, Brunnera Jack Frost; if purple, I have a heuchera Plum Pudding in a pot in shade, perhaps other varieties of heuchera as well.

Hosta would be a good idea, and I could keep an eye out for slugs !! I will have to look out for a large variety, I may try a couple of smaller pots with buzzy lizzies or begonias also. Thanks very much for the advice

I've had a look at RHS website - maybe a Camelia would be good all year round
