I thought I grew this but it is starting to look like a weed,I am going on holiday for two weeks and I don't want it self seeding while I am away.

On an another note I am annoyed as I am going to miss some of my agapanthus coming into flower.

Might be one of the artemesias.

Can we have a look at a leaf

and is the a pungent smell to the leaves?

It smells like a mixture of cinnamon and rosemary!

I think it's Artemisia absinthum, wormwood.

But if you think you grew it get a second opinion, there are many cultivated artemisias. It's a lovely specimen. I don't think it would be more of a seeding around problem than the cow parsleyimage

Thanks. I might  pull it up as it is blocking my view of prettier plants. I am always chopping and changing my garden.

If you don't like it dump it cotty. I've nurtured things I don't really like for daft reasons; they're rare,  a friend donated them,  I grew it from seed and it took  ages

    I'm more ruthless nowimage
