 Can anyone please tell me what this lovely plant is called. I grew it from a packet of free seeds and can't remember its name.

Are they primulas?  The leaves look like something else, though.  Nice plants.

If you want to collect the seed, remove the whole flowering stems when the first seeds begin to fall and turn them up side down in a bucket and let the seed drop out. Wear gloves to remove the rest, the flowers are VERY prickly.
