Got my second lot of plugs from J Parker's must say very strong and well packed at reasonable prices still got 30 surfinia to come for my hanging baskets and containers. I would not hesitate to use or recommend them to anyone else if looking for plug plants would be good to hear other gardener's views on them.

Hiya Andy.
There have been good and bad reports on parkers and most other suppliers too. My experience is bulbs are good but perennials no.

Vedun it will be interesting how these hardy mums get on then got 10 hosta & bleeding heart bare root about 5 weeks ago and they are all have come on great so heres hoping.

The potty gardener

I've not had much from them but the plug plants and perennials both seem excellent value for money

Sounds good Andy.
I,would expect your hostas to grow quickly to make good show this summer but maybe bleeding heart will need growing on to flower next year

i have had two orders now from parkers both perrenials six astilbles were great coming on nicely the six holly hocks well i dont know which way to plant them six inches long and straight all the way up help someone please

If I recall correctly hollyhock roots are planted vertically with sharp ends down. Don't grow them now because of rust but was fond of them and this was how I grew them
