Hello this is my first post so I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem as us. We have a Red King (Anthurium) lots of green lush leaves but no flowers. it is kept in the conservatory.

Hello, spurbear. I´m not sure about this cultivar, but anthuriums won´t bloom

1. if it is too dark: they need two or three hours of full or dappled sunlight to bloom well.

2. if it is too cold: less than 18 degrees Celsius is a no-no.

3. if it is receiving too much nitrogen feed (from fertilizer).

Anthuriums like to feel their roots somewhat restrained; do not use too large a

port or allow the plant to take too much soil in a bed.
