Or four winged pterodactyls from the age of the dinosaurs.  I am sure they were much more colourful than they are depicted.

One of the sights in my garden in the spring is the blossom on the apple  trees This Bramley apple tree was very old when we arrived over 49 years ago.

Yuk the picture trouble is getting worse.  Let's see if it disappears when i edit it.

Marion try putting them on that photobucket sight that Salino mentioned. That's wght I did and it works well though it takes a little time to get the hang of it  It means you can enlarge the pix though!

BLiz- those plum and white tulips are beautiful -which ones are they?

I am going totry reducint the size to less than one mb and see if that helps.

The potty gardener

I love the colours in the corner of my garden in spring. The green of the clematis is growing up in the background.

Bev - love the colours too.  What a pretty acer !

...Marion, your photo was much better that time...

Try again, Marion.  The daffodils are still giving a lovely show enhanced by the wallflowers and bluebells.

Tulip Prinses Irene, bought after seeing them at Sissinghurst last spring. narcissus Minow and narcissus Intrique, outside the back door.

 They look like flames.

So pretty, lovetogarden!  I really love the orange tulips, and you have paired them up really well.  Hope they survive the gales tonight

Marion - lovely again ! - how many weeks have you had daffodils flowering now ??

hollie hock

Lovely deep red wallflowers Marion, one of my favourite plants

I love that stone trough and the colour arrangement in it.

Syringa meyeri 'Palibin'... I grow this in the greenhouse as I want it at nose level for the powerful scent, which is gorgeous...

Diosma ericoides 'Pink Fountain'.... another very pretty plant and strong smeller, and I mean strong - unfortunately of smelly feet...

Although with the smelly feet comment, I think I am happy to just enjoy the picures.  How can something so pretty smell nasty ??

Wonderful photos from everyone
