I have a large pot and I was going to put a juniper 'Blue Rocket' in it. However I have a pear which does not need to be near juniper (rust) so I am now looking for a similar, slender conifer/evergreen that is not of the juniper family. Any one any suggestions

Yes it can be a conifer just not a member of the juniper family

Just off to looko up that spruce
