I have an east facing bed that doesn't get a lot of sun but did well last year with gladioli, allium (sphaerocephalon) and crocosmia. Crocus website says crocosmia is okay in partial shade so may well be worth a punt. You may be able to leave them in the ground over winter, too. In fact, you can search the crocus website for bulbs that like light shade and flower in eg July = 35!
