when is the best time to put hanging baskets out

I would start planting them up in a couple of weeks time -the chances of getting an air frost are rapidly diminishing, but the nights are still chilly-so I say mid-May for hanging them up

I agree with Geoff - it's still too early. Not just in terms of cold, but the current wet spell - heavy rain will over-saturate them and beat down the plants.
