My star jasmine is not flowering this year, it is looking very healthy and has put on lots of growth but has no flowers at all.  Normally I get some flowers - not loads - but the ones I do get have a very strong scent.  Am missing it this year

Does anyone have any idea why no flowers this year ?

Have you fertilised it? If so, what with?

I use a mulch in spring and autumn - I feed the garden plants with miracle grow during the growing season to give them a boost.

I don't use Miracle Grow so don't know it. What's the NPK figure on the packet? If the N figure - nitrogen - is high, it could explain all the foliage and no flowers. Nitrogen encourages leaf growth at the expense of flowers. I find a dedicated rose fertiliser has the right NPK balance for jasmine.

Thank you ltalophie - I will give it a feed of rose fertiliser.
