Trailing. Campanula - cut it back?

Hi all - quick query if you don't mind!

i have a lovely bEd of trailing campanula which was a great show a couple of weeks and now mostly looks dry and dead (the flowers not the leaves underneath). If I nip off the dried out flowering stalks, will it produce any more flowers this year? And will cutting it back now do it any damage for next year? It's my wedding in 3 weeks and this will likely be in some of the pictures done at the house, so i'd like it to at least look presentable, of not full of flowers! Many thanks i. Advance for any wisdom offered!
