Can anyone identify the above flower approx 1mtre tall the flowers last for 24 hours then drop off it has been flowering continously for the last couple of weeks.

Definitely an evening primrose plant. You'll find that it dies after setting seed and you will have lots of seedlings appear next year.

Thanks everyone , the ones I have were grown this year from seed found on a plant that had been dumped near a footpath behind someones property, their loss my gain I think they are great and look forward to growing some more next year.
