Yep. plants

That rather yellow one on the right could be Verbena bonariensis. Did you have some of that?

MrsGarden

OOO really Nut? I do have some of those, wondered where they were!

Is the big one a salvia or a phlox or do I need to think some more?

And something that grows tall, pink fluffy flowers? One of the spindley ones.

nutcutlet

I did think phlox when I first looked at it but I don't grow them and wasn't sure. But if the choice is salvia or phlox.  It's phlox

Hi Mrs Garden, the big pot is a phlox.

nutcutlet

Have you got a list of possibilities for the shrubs Mrs Garden?

Any deutzia around

4thPanda

Knew that Nut and others would be along to put some actual suggestions into the mix

The one at the back looks like a Philadelphus maybe.

Deutzia is another one I wondered about

I'm glad I'm not alone in doing this, me and the OH are both guilty of this!

The other 2 aren't

I think the big one at the front is a phlox. Is the red stemmed one a cornus of some sort?

Orchid Lady

The other week I bought 6 different Begonia tubers, 3 for a hanging basket and 3 for a pot but didn't write on the bags the varieties or which were hanging and which were for pots, all planted now so will have to wait and see!!

MrsGarden

Phlox thank you

No duetzia or cornus.

Have philadelphus but don't remember taking a cutting, will be nice if I did.

Vebena bon yes, but others are much bigger, think this was one of the mollycoddled ones.

one left - the long one with green stem, it's on the tip of my tongue - might begin with s or v. late ish flowering, about 60cm tall, pink or blue spikes of flowers, aghhh I'm sure it is, can't even find a photo from last year.
