Can anyone help identify these. Very tall. Thank you
They look very similar to my coreopsis.
A helianthus, I don't know which one. There are lots
It was the very tall that made me think helianthus Jennifer but maybe we should ask what very tall is.
I was thinking 5 or 6 foot
Nutcultlet, a sunflower , they seem to have been in bloom for months, still are.
sadly in Neighbours garden, but i want some, they look really nice.
Yes over 6ft tall, maybe 7ft the tallest part.
Helianthus, I have some of those but I've never known the species of the cultivar name. Lovely, a real star at this time of year
look like this so i guess you are correct. Thank you

Would i buy from seed to grow next year?
I've never seen seeds for sale but you don't need to buy them, the plant will make some for you when it's finished flowering, unless it's a sterile hybrid.
Also they spread by roots and make more exactly the same which seeds won't from a cultivar
Ask your neighbour if you can have a small clump in the spring. They grow prolifically - are you sure you want them?
