Hello everyone,

Picked these up yesterday for a £1 each, I think the orange flowered is a verbascum of some sort  but not sure. No idea about the purple ones, but the bees seem to like it

 Thanks for any information

Busy-Lizzie

The purple one looks like a variety of salvia ?sclarea. Orange one, yes, verbascum.

Thanks Busy Lizzie, are they perennials?Had a quick look about and found conflicting information

Elusive

I'm pretty sure Salvias are herbacous perennials, not too show about verbascum but I would say that is too

punkdoc

Yes. Both are perennials, although Verbascum can be short lived in some gardens.

Yes agree salvia and verbascum. I have a card somewhere with variety name as mine is identical to yours and I have a blue, white and purple let me know if you need me to dig it out.
