HI all
Inherited this garden just over 18 months ago. Its my first garden, although my Mum and Dad are keen gardeners. Does anyone have any ideas what this plant is? the local garden centre suggested it could be a Kiwi? If so does anyone know anything about growing Kiwis?
It has never flowered, but last year's weather was such that it may have just been too cold for it, but nothing this year either.
Today the wind has blown down the canes holding it up and trying to decide if I should prop it up or cut it down and plant something else there instead?
Cheers

Looks like an actinidia ( kiwi ) plant. You need a male and a female plant in close proximity to get fruit.
Do both male and female plants flower? any way I can find out if its male of female or one of these hermaphrodites?
Doubt you can tell which sex it is until it flowers. Then compare your flowers with those down this page http://extension.wsu.edu/maritimefruit/Pages/AltCrop.aspx to see which you have.
