What is this?

My next door neighbour has this. He knows it as a Fried egg plant but when he visited Mr Google there were many different sorts of lants with that name.

It is lovely - about 60cm x 60cm

    I know a poached egg plant, Limnanthes, but I don't think this is it

    Looks more like a helianthemum

    do you know if it's an annual or a perennial?

    Shrub-like perennial, Small leaves, no smell, not a cistus

    Poached egg plant has bigger centres and small white edges. As nut says- limnanthes is it's posh name.Does look like a helianthemum. Maybe your neighbour just knows it by that name- fried eggs have more white round them I suppose!

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
