is it a weed or a plant as its just started growing in a pot, i moved into house and the pot and plant was al ready here,  thank you for speedy reply

Might I please draw everyones attentio to a certain book.  The book.  Wild Flowers of Britain and Northern Europe by Marjorie Blamey, Richard Fitter & Alastair Fitter.  Under Medicos.  I refer to the edition pre 1980.  The balck Medico and it co-part.  The names are transposed.   I can reproduce the publishers letter of thanks and confirmation on this matter.

In gardens it's usually regarded as a weed Shelley.  There are some types that are grown as feed crops for cattle

well its only in a tub and looks fairly pretty so think i will leave it there for this summer but get rid at the end of the season   thank you for replying
