When to move a Phormium Yello Wave

Hi, Could someone please confirm when's the best time to move a Phormium Yellow Wave plant...its starting to out grow its current position and I'd like to move it to a more suitable position. Thanks for your help..

Never had nor grown a Phornium, but I would imagine spring  would be the best time.
