Hi, I have a lovely Pieris which has now outgrown its pot. Does anyone know when is the best time to replant this in a larger container please.

It's still mild Sandra, so repotting now won't hurt. Pieris are acid lovers so a suitable feed will help them re-establish.

Hi Sandra.  I have a well established Pieris which I've had for quite a few years and as it had outgrown its pot, I repotted it into a large half barrel in March last year, with plenty of ericaceous compost and a mulch of chipped bark, watered well with rain water.  It is looking very healthy.

Many thanks to both of you. I have the ericaceous compost and feed ready, now you have confirmed action I just need the torrential rain to stop next Sunday!

Thanks again.
