Hi DHR,

Thanks for this .... very helpful to see in detail.

The buds on mine are all still slim .... maybe because I'm in Scotland and everything is a good bit further behind.

Do you feed your wisteria? If so, when and what?

They don't get any food at all. The one in the photo shares that bed with several dahlias. They get a bit of a feed with a general fertilizer, but I use very little in the garden, other than the dregs from the pump sump of my koi pool after its weekly purge. fish poo is acidic and watered down it's an excellent fertilizer for the many azaleas and rhodos in  our garden.

This garden is  quite small only 90ft long but there's a lot packed into it.

Thanks for the info. re feeding .....  my wisteria is in a large pot and I've been giving it homemade comfrey feed.

Your garden is lovely ... you clearly enjoy it.
