I have a florist's azalea which I received for Mother's Day. I would like to put it out in the garden when it is warmer but want to know should I repot it first or just plant it in the garden in its pot and then repot when I bring it out later.  Your help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

If you haven't re-potted it yet the plant is likely to be quite pot bound. I would re-pot it now into ericaceous compost and put it somewhere sheltered in your garden. They are not really frost hardy, so you will need to bring it in before first frost.

Thanks Alina, that's what I thought.
