Hi Suziqc and welcome

A few questions for you:

if there is no soil - is it paving/concrete or what?

how big an area are we looking at?

which way does it face?

what time of day does it get the sun and when is it in shadow?

does it have fences and if so what type and how high?

could you post a photo or two on here to give us a better idea of what we're looking at?  (to post photos click on the little tree picture on the toolbar at the top when you post a reply)

Hi there it is paving stones base, the area is approx 8ft long x 3ft wide, it gets the sun in the afternoon, no it doesnt have fences it is has a small wall about 8 inches high at the front and the yard wall is the back and sides. I will try my best to upload some photos,
