Anyone know why few needles are going brown?

It is currently in a very large round terracota pot. Do you think it needs planting out. moved house in December and took this with us.

A lot of Christmas trees don't have a decent root system and soon turn brown. Its difficult to keep them going for more than a couple of months. You could try planting it out and see if that perks it up a bit.
