I bought a Bird of Paradise in 2007 and this year it has finally flowered. It usually grows happily in our conservatory but during the winter I bring it into our living room due to the cold temperatures in the conservatory. I have noticed every year I loose a few leaves because they develop brown spots which gradually grow bigger, join up and then the leaf dries up. I'm not sure if this is due to over watering or the dry temperatures due to the central heating, or even if it is too cold. Any advice is most welcome
