conference pear

I have a small conference pear tree that I have just put in the garden from a pot. It had a few blossoms but has had no fruit. But it has got reddy brown spots on the top of leaves and what I can only descibe as pale brown lumpy bits under the leaves. Has any body any ideas on what it is and how to cure it please.

Your problem will be solved when it loses its leaves this Autumn and you get a new lot next Spring.  If they are wierd in the Spring then a diagnosis can be made.

In spring tie a oily rag around the trunk to stop ants e.t.c. transporting bugs and virus to the tree,(veg oil).
