Currant bushes ...should I be worried...

I don't have a picture but new shoots on my red and white currant bushes have started to go bubbly with orange/brown markings and making the leaves start to shrivel. There doesn't look to be any grubs on the leaves. I've picked the affected shoots off.

The black currant and gooseberry bush which grow close by are ok.- Q is what could be causing it?

Check for ants and aphids. I have a few leaves like that. Or rather my currants do.

Sorry for not getting back sooner.

Yes, pansyface they do look like that. Thanks for the link, it tells you how to deal with the problem. I didn't see any aphids though or ants but that's not to say they aren't there.

I'll carry on taking off the affected leaves as they appear.
