Dead leaves

Some of my borders have slate chippings on them. Didn't get to clear dead leaves last autumn as ground so boggy. Has anyone tried a leaf vacuum on slate, does it pick that up as well as the leaves. If not, might get one ready for this autumn.

My garden vac doesn't pick up gravel, so I 'd be pretty sure that you'd be OK.
