When do i clear the forget me nots ? They look so pretty and are doing a great job filling space, but I'm aware unless i pull them up soon, the seedlings are going to be out of control.
when do you all clear yours?
thank you.

I remove them as I want to plant something else or when they're threatening to swamp something perennial
In the sticks near Peterborough
when they begin to look straggly and the flowers loose there colour .
they are pretty with their fluffy floating blue flowers but can be thuggish. they produce their seeds in their gazillions, so u have to keep on top of them. i will go with flowering rose's advice. they can be prone to powdery mildew too.
I've started clearing them to make room for summer flowering plants.
