fruit trees

hi all can any one help me i dont want to buy more if it hapends again i had 2 plumb trees in dif largish pot the first year nice leaves this year they died  my cooking cherry plant last year cherries this year blossom then nothing can you help please or ps  apple tree did the same died last year

Is this a joke?-I would quit while you are ahead-- growing frute trees- even plumbs is not for you-try growing veg

r the apple trees in pots aswell?

I didnt get any pears of my well established pear tree this year for the 1st time but other gardeners have been saying this year was not a good year for fruit trees... otherwise.. r u feeding them enough & with the right food.. I was feeding my potted fruit trees with regular miracol grow which turns out isnt right for fruit trees... ive been advised bonemeal with a top up of potash at start of season..

Which varieties of plums, apples and cherries did you grow?

What sort of pot and what size?

What sort of compost?

Where abouts are they, in sun or shade?  

Are they in a sheltered spot or are they exposed to strong winds?

How much and when did you water them?

How much and when did you feed them and what with?
