Any advice please as to how I can prune this Dogwood standard ( I think it is)

I would prune each branch back to within a few buds leaving the main stem intact.. New strong shoots should grow and look as it does now. I would do it now or soon and give it a good feed

Ha ha, well done! I couldn't bear to venture out into the garden today because of the cold. Lovely coloured branches aren't they.
