Hi having read the post of holes in leaves i have a serious problem in which all my foliage on my climbers (honeysuckle and jasmine) along with my cherry and dwarf plum patio plants and i just cannot find anything on the leaves. i have included some pics and would appreciate any help you may give.

It could be earwigs.

i must admit ive seen earwigs in my garden but just never thought about them .

If your plants are in pots they might be hiding underneath them. They will come out at night. It could be a whole load of other things too!

ive set a lot of traps and will await the outcome hopefully i will find a lot drowned in oil.

thx again and yes they are all in planters and pots as my yard is concrete

I fully agree with "waterbutts" idea i think it will be earwigs too, i had this trouble in the nursery and as soon as i moved the pots it felt like an army of earwigs tried to take over! Hope you find the problem, can be such a pain!

thanks olly ive still no earwigs in the traps but ive found some hiding on the climbing fram so yes i believe they are the culprits and have caused such damage to all the finer leaved plants as i have holly leaves untouched.
