Leggy Tomatos

I now realise (from reading other posts) that I have probably planted my tomatoes indoors too early with insufficient light and too much heat. Lots of seedlings have come through (now about 2" high) but they are leggy. I understand that I can pot them on and plant them up to the first pair of leaves but will I get healthy mature plants or have I given them a bad start which they won't fully recover from? Thanks for any replies.

Thanks sotongeoff. Thought I'd messed up before I'd really got started!
