mouldy compost

Hi,

Ive just purchased three bags of compost form the local garden centre. I have opened them to find then damp and sweaty with white mould on the top. The compost appears to smell stronger than my last bags as well. Shall i use it for my seeds and flowers or will it kill them.

I've never used anything like that for seeds but I do for more mature plants. Never had any problems. Had a lot like that last summer.
