When I opened many of my broad bean pods, there were no beans inside or maybe 1 bean!

The pods looked & felt like they had beans inside but when opened they were just full of the usual white fluffy lining.

Any ideas why?

I got the same thing on my second batch of the season. Don't know why. There ought to be a law against it.

Lack of pollination.  The bees have to visit the flowers to ensure pollination.

I'll have to train the bees in my 2 hives to visit the broad beans then!
