I have a tree which I moved close to my cottage when we first moved in some three years ago. It was four feet high. It's now eight feet high and I want toi move it away from the house. We love the tree and dress it every Christmas, as it makes the most welcoming sight imaginable, but I worry about the roots. It's a pine of some sort, (I'm not yet very good at species). I have pictures of it if it's possible to publish on site. Can anyone tell me if and when I should dig it up and move it. I want to re-plant about 25 metres from the house front.
