Hi everybody, ive got a conundrum,my wallflowers are now growing so many and large i dont know what to do. Do i consign them to the bin (NO! NO! ) or can i cut back to come again, they are all cuttings so i,m a bit fond of them. Please help .TO CHOP OR NOT ? Thanks in a tizz! Tony.

If they are cuttings of perennials, they will usually grow for a couple of years, but get leggy. better to start new cuttings each year and discard old plant.

You can usually chop back at end of first year, and get a good second year, but after that they tend to deteriorate.
