Last Autumn I ug and potted up several chrysanths and left them to overwinter in the greenhouse. They are all now producing strong growth from the base. My question is, are these the shoots I should be using for cuttings or will these come from higher up the plants. Thanks in anticipation.

Those are the shoots you want Ivy.

Careefully pull the shoots away from the crown, trying to include some small roots. Pot these up and you will be away.

The shoots need to be about 2ins tall.

Many thanks. I'll leave it a week to see if it warms up a bit then have a go.
