Rhubarb!

Hello,
I have just received two Rhubarb Plants (unfortunately I do not know what variety they are as they were a gift) and I'm ready to give them a new home!
However before I get stuck in I just wondered whether now was a good time to plant them and if so where would they be best in the Garden?
Also seeing my borders are quite crowded would they be able to go into a Raised Bed or Container? Or am I best off trying to make space for them seeing judging by next doors the foliage can get pretty big!
Also would they benefit from anything else being incorporated into the Planting Hole such as Bonemeal?
Any tips are welcome

Well rotted cow manure! Lots of it
Correct Fleurisa lots of it and the older the better , and dont forget let it settle in and uaually leave it to die back for the first year, dont let any manure onto the crown and by the way, you dont need huge great leaves ,pick it (tug twist) when its young taste much better, and find out how to put to to bed for winter as it comes from Siberia

Give it lots of room
Don't let it dry out in the summer. It can be grown in a container but it'll never produce at its full potential.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thanks everyone
