Spots on leaves

I have noticed on my spicata that there are spots on the leaves and it is looking pretty unhealthy.  I recently moved my shasta daisy's nearer to the spicata and have noticed that these too now seem to have spots on the leaves.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing them and what I can do to help them look healthy again.  They are on light sandy soil in partial shade, but I'm thinking more a bug rather their growing conditions.

could be septoria leaf spot which is a kind of mildew.

Poss a general fungicide would clear it if that's what it is, but at this time in the season, best leave for the time being but be sure to remove all the infected bits and don't compost them as the spores may survive.

    See what others here say.

    Good luck
