can any one out there give me some advise on what to do.I have a standard holly bush/tree It stands about I metre tall in its pot.It has a lot of green berries on it, but a few of the leaves have started to go yellow. I do water it when it drys out and I feed it with miracle grow every 2 weeks.
all evergreens drop some leaves at some time during the summer. they go yellow first. aslong as the growing parts are green you're OK
I'd give it some tomato food...and a mulch.
we have a holly that is very old and was looking a bit worse for wear,we pruned it and it rejuvenated.
at our last place we had a tatty holly. cut it down piled all the branches and other garden trimmings on top, lit the bonfire. Done.
next year it started growing and never looked back
