Surely if they are still there and causing pain after a year then she should be going to see a doctor! I'm surprised she hasn't been already?
Are you looking for the name of the plant or help for the thorns stuck in your auntie's fingers? I am confused!
Mariaklocka is campanula medium, canterbury bells, and has no thorns. Something does not add up, here.
magnesium sulphate will draw any thorns left in the skin, it sounds like it could be infected, she will probably need a course of antibiotics.
Jeez, it sounds terrible! I suppose there must be some kind of personal sensitivity, because I never heard of such a thing... the only thing in my experience that comes anywhere close is ants bites lasting for months, but this is different.
I could only very tentatively suggest the herbal remedy for "extracting" foreing bodies from the tissues, i.e. plantain (plantago sp) compresses, baths, washes etc. Also pine resin.
But then if there is a personal sensitivity, she might react strangely also the herbal medication, so I don't know.
