Volunteer Gardeners

I seem to remember a feature in a tv gardening programme - I think Gardeners World - which highlighted a scheme matching volunteer gardeners to people who needing help with their gardens. Does anyone remember this? - and know the contact details for the scheme?

I think you if you contact Age Concern or Help The Aged they run some of these schemes
Are you considering volunteering?
I know someone who was involved in trying to set up one of these schemes and it stalled when they realised that they would be introducing strangers to elderly people.
If you do find a scheme make sure that they have done their due diligence.
I believe the RHS runs several schemes but these are in groups in public areas.
