How long can rain water remain in a water Butt?

    until you use it, pour it away, or it evaporates.

    Unless it doesn't have a lid, in which case until the biting insect population drives you completely insane

     A drop of vegetable oil will solve that problem, mossie larvae will suffocate!

  • Thank you, it doesn't have a lid at the moment but I'll be getting one, cant be doing with biting insects.
