About 3  or 4 weeks ago, someone was asking if plant material treated with weed killer could be composted. I said I would ask Garden Organic who train us Compost Masters. They lost my original email, despite acknowledging it and have now got back to me. There are some weed killers that MAY be OK, but it is best not to put this material in a home composter. The huge composting places that the Councils use are ok with this stuff as it is hot composting and the sheer amount of plant material dilutes the weed killer, which eventually bio-degrades.

Bumping this, so whoever made the original enquiry can find it
