I have loads of lovely home made compost - do I put it on now or spring ?

I'm not sure it really matters, it's all good!  In theory, if you do it now it can improve the soil ready for spring planting without the need to dig it in (let the worms do it for you).

I normally put my compost on at the end of October, but due to problems I have this year, I have done the front garden already.

If you have bare ground, I'd certainly go with doing it now - still warm enough for the worms to be active and gives you a good preparation for Spring planting.
