why can I not upload photo

I have a plant in garden that I must have bought few yrs ago & this year flowered..dont no wot it is though...tried many times making photo smaller but still says its too big..is 9279 byte... 96 x 128 pixels.. thats smallest I can do... any ideas please
the plant has long thin leaves with crop of floweres on top which are a lighter green

Hello Jean. I'm sorry you've had problems uploading an image. I've just tested the upload facility, and it worked fine. Can I just confirm that the image you're attempting to upload is save in jpeg format?

i replied on other forum then found you mailed me as well... clicked tree/selected file/uploaded to web in jpg smallest.. then upload but too big.. maybe your site possibly needs looking at as there are many of us with same problem.. what is file extension.?
