Please give as much detail as you can, if it would be useful (eg the url of the page, and/or exactly what action caused the problem, if it only happened after a sequence of actions. If it's more than just a broken link)

Some starters for 10

  • Some scrapbook cuttings are still being imported
  • Links in articles don't work yet
  • Reader profile pages and boxes are still to finished
  • Images in forums are coming very shortly
backyardee

whilst looking through the plants on the list under A, I found I couldn't easily go to the list starting B. Maybe an alphabet list at the bottom of each page might help.

Sean Fishpool

Thanks backyardee, that's a good idea.

Did you find it easy to add a rating to any of the plants?

Where has the weather gone?

Hello finoulamcc, we'll be adding a new, localised 7-day weather forecast for gardeners to the site early next year. It will include details such as wind speed and soil temperature, and alert you when you need to carry out tasks such as protecting plants from cold. Before the new feature launches, you can view forecast at the BBC Weather site.

The What to do Now section is stuck on May, can you help?

happymarion

Hooray, the bug has been fixed and the what to do now (and next week and what we should have done last week) is now upand running.  No more excuses!

Daniel Haynes

Apologies for the bug with the What to do now section, donutsmrs and happmarion - normal service is indeed resumed!

In on of the blogs, about flowers still blooming,  I clicked the reply button - several times, in the end - but nothing came up.  I was glad this one worked.  But it must be working for other people, because there were 50 replies there already.  Is there a morse code to tap, or something, that I don't know about?

Sorry - I've just found out the reply box is at the end of the other replies.  My mistake.

Hi are the scrapbook cuttings still being imported as tried to import the How to take Dogwood Cuttings article into my scrapbook and it won't?

Daniel Haynes

Hello francesmhendry - I'm sorry that you didn't find the 'reply' function on the blogs clear. We'll discuss this at our next planning meeting.

willowplanter - yes, the scrapbook cuttings should still work - apologies for the glitch. Are you still experiencing the problem? If so, just let me know and I'll refer it to our technical team.

phippsy

seems ok to me but i much prefer the old style.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is there a new RSS feed for the blog? I used to have it set up in iGoogle, but it hasn't updated since the site update.

Daniel Haynes

Hello dambuster - we're having a technical planning meeting later in the week, and scheduling the 7-day weather is on the agenda. We're keen to add it as soon as possible, so please bear with us.

phippsy - sorry to hear that you're not keen on the new look. The site is always a work in progress, and we'll be making further changes and improvements over the coming year. If there is anything in particular about the design/layout that you find makes the site difficult to use, please let us know.

mattr - There isn't yet an RSS feed for the blogs on the new site, unfortunately. I've added it to the wishlist, though!

Despite having sent an e-mail (and getting no reply) I thought I would try this way to complain about the competition page.

As there is no space to put the answer, how am I supposed to enter these competitions? Do you just highlight it?

Emma Crawforth

Hello buster55,

We sent you an email on 24th January concerning competitions. Please could you check your spam folder to find it. If it has been deleted please email us and we will resend it.
