Problem with uploading pics - Page 2

Can anyone advise me on this photo uploading thingy? I have got as far as selecting 'Photo fun' the area where the pics from my camera are stored (as opposed to the pics from my mobile). But I cannot then open photo fun to select the photo I want to upload. Life was much easier before some idiot sent me the photo fun programme. For example; the icon to the left is a detail from one of my paintings, taken on digital camera and uploaded easily BEFORE the photo fun was installed. I am so not a technical person, can anyone help?

I would first check in you pictures folder-you may find that they are duplicated in there-can you not uninstall the photo fun thing from the computer?

Artjak, are you saying you painted that? It's suberb. I thought it was a photo.

artjak, it will be easier to manually move the pictures you want to upload first. Dead easy. Just open up the folder where they are at the moment and drag them onto desktop (or wherever you know you will find them). Then next time you use the upload function on a site, just choose Desktop (Or wherever you manually moved them to) and select your pictures.

I also suggest, like Geoff, you uninstall that 'photo fun', which I have never heard of, if it's causing you problems. Remember to remove all pictures from the photo fun folder before you uninstall, in case you lose them.

Yep. Open up the control panel on your PC/Laptop and click 'Add/remove programes' (It might be labelled Programs and features). Wait until the whole list comes up, find photo fun, and right click to uninstall. Then just follow any instructions.

Ok-not difficult

Assuming you are on Windows7-first click on the windows icon on the bottom left corner-then control panel-then look for programs and features in the box that comes up-open that -a list of your installed programmes comes up in alphabetical order.

Find the one you want-click on that -an install or change option comes up-click on that-choose uninstall and let it do its tricks

I think I have managed to uninstall, am now going to upload a 2012 pic of garden that was not involved in the dreaded photofun

 I don't know how well that has worked.

It worked -if I lie on the floor

Just open the folder where the pics are, right click on the pic you want, and choose 'rotate'
