Christopher dont want to teach grandma how to suck eggs etc. but are you aware there is an edit function on this site that enables you to change or add to posts as long as no-one else has replied?
These iPads aren'all they are cracked up to be- no smileys,no edit-do they do beans on toast and make tea?
Bit bulky to sit on the dashboard or windcreen
firat thankyou for your suggestions I have had a look at a map and it seems that the garden you recomended is abot hour and a half from me so i will suggest to the lady wife that she makes a picnic and go out there on the next nice day.christophe2 i have made a not of all your plants i do not think i will have room for all of them in mygarden but i will see what i can find i have had some news about the chance of a job so i will be putting the nursery idea o hold for a few days intil i have heard wether i have a chance with that as the pay is ok.maudinthegren what mistake did i make.sotongeoff were is the edit feature.
@sotongeoff.. is there please tell me about this function.
and christoper.. keep posting this is the only forum where i feel i am never attacked or felt to fell unwanted.. it is a lovely place to catch up things..
Didnt mean you had many mistakes we all have our funny ways of doing things and think it is the right way and someone else might think it is wrong. Did that make sense? if it didnt very sorry not having a good week .
-after you have posted and you notice a mistake you can correct it by going to the bottom right hand corner of your posting- a blue icon will appear click on that- it goes back to your message and you can make changes
It only works providing yours is the last message -if someone posts after you can't edit
Hope that explains it?

Myself and a few of my friends adore it, and go over at least twice a year, Keith's always working in it and pottering around, it is so difficult to describe but, with the possible exception of Great Dixter (the late great Christopher Lloyd's garden), the most inspiring and magical gard
